Salary: $26 - $30/hour (negotiable based on experience), plus a 15% shift premium.
Schedules: Monday–Friday 6:30am-3pm

We are hiring a 1st Shift CNC Operator (Operator III) for our client, North America's largest Electrical Insulation manufacturer and fabricator.
Job Summary
Setups involve familiarity with and understanding of program formats involving combinations of operations such as profile and contour milling, boring, recessing, turning, drilling, threading, etc., to the capacity of the machine and control factor.
Job Functions/Responsibilities Operate multiple types of fabrication equipment: Set-up and operate CNC machining centers in multiple cells that include but are not limited to mills, lathes, presses, routers etc. Perform advanced setup operations Perform work independently with minimal defects’ May check parts for conformance to specifications and run and set up more than one unit simultaneously. Operates numerically controlled machine tools to perform a complex series of progressive machining operations on a diversified line of work to close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications requiring a high degree of skill.
Qualifications: Requires a broad knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with computer numerically controlled machine tool operating procedures. Open to change due to emergency orders or fabrication of parts Intermediate math skills and/or aptitudes Ability to use basic measuring instruments Excellent problem-solving skills Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Education and Experience Typically requires 5 years of combined formal training and experience, or equivalent. A High School Diploma or GED with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience is required. Prior experience in a manufacturing industry preferred.
