Our client is a well-established, fully licensed HVAC contractor in New Jersey with over 40 years of experience serving commercial clients. They are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial HVAC Service Technician to maintain and repair air quality systems for their customers. Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, cleaning, and repairs on HVAC systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot defective HVAC equipment. Conduct preventative maintenance, including cleaning reheat coils and air handling units, and calibrating air handling systems. Repair, replace, and adjust vents and ductwork. Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency repair requests. Maintain daily logs and records of maintenance activities. Ensure the service truck is properly stocked and maintained. Adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC services. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills. Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Willingness to work after hours, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physically capable of working in confined spaces and handling the demands of the job.
