Concrete Formwork Detailer/Draftsperson
Position Overview
We are seeking a Full-Time, In-House Concrete Formwork Detailer/Draftsperson to join our team. This role focuses on producing concrete and formwork shop drawings using AutoCAD while working primarily with architectural and structural drawings.
As a Formwork Detailer, you will: Prepare accurate concrete layout drawings, including floor plans and elevation views. Identify slab edges, construction joints, elevations, and more. Generate project-specific shop drawings with detailed production designs for columns, walls, parapets, and elevated concrete slabs. Collaborate closely with project field formwork superintendents and liaise with our Ontario, CA yard to manage formwork production orders and deliveries. Oversee the formwork process for each project from conception to completion. You will report directly to the Chief Detailer and work under the guidance of the Formwork Operations Manager. Key Requirements Experience: Minimum of 3 years in concrete formwork detailing. Carpenter formwork experience is a plus. At least 3 years of AutoCAD experience. Technical Skills: Familiarity with BIM software (Revit experience is a plus). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.). Work Style: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $75,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience. Incentives: Bonus and profit-sharing opportunities. Benefits: 401(k) retirement plan.
