Job Title: Electrical MEP Engineer
Location: Edwardsville, Illinois
Pay: Base Salary between $50,000 - $90,000 (negotiable) plus bonuses

Job Qualifications: Experience: Currently licensed in Illinois or graduated from an IL accredited school in order to obtain a future license; other state licenses are acceptable as long as an IL license can be obtained. Proficient in designing lighting and electrical layouts for buildings using AutoCAD (Required), with Revit experience being a plus. Education: Bachelor's degree (Required) from a US University. Work Authorization: United States (Required). Responsibilities: As an Electrical MEP Engineer, you will be responsible for: Performing designs of lighting, security products, electrical, and data building design, independently for smaller/less technical projects; supervision of senior engineer for complex projects. Preparing CAD and/or REVIT production drawings of Electrical systems from schematic to construction design phases, with the support of dedicated technical staff as needed. Preparing and editing specifications relating to existing or new projects. Specifying products and manufacturers. Reviewing submittals and shop drawings for compliance of specifications and contract documents. Participating or leading value engineering sessions with Architectural/Engineering team. About Your Qualifications: Qualified candidates must possess: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Architectural Engineering (Electrical Systems focus). Illinois PE licensed or can obtain one upon hire or upon meeting a 4-year training requirement. Familiarity with Revit. Excellent written & verbal communication skills are essential.
