The Field Service Technician will report to the President of the Company.
Duties and Responsibilities: Provide technical and mechanical services for Evergreen Packaging Gable Top Fillers in manufacturing plants. Perform equipment maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance. Conduct inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and recommend solutions. Travel extensively by car and airplane to various plant locations for on-site support. Assist clients with troubleshooting equipment issues by phone as needed. Collaborate with plant personnel to address equipment concerns and ensure smooth operations. Maintain detailed service records and documentation for each service visit. Adhere to safety protocols and company standards while working in diverse manufacturing environments. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and maneuver in tight spaces. Capable of handling changing temperature and work conditions to include: cold, hot, wet, greasy, etc Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience with Gable Top Fillers. Strong mechanical skills with some electrical experience. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, pneumatic drawings, and mechanical blueprints. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. PLC experience preferred. Excellent communication skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Prior experience working with high-productivity production equipment.
