Our Client, a leading comprehensive Quartz and Solid Surfaces supplier of Premium Kitchen & Bath Countertop Materials, is looking for an HR Recruiting Specialist in Norcross, GA.
Roles & Responsibility: Regularly partners with hiring managers and other appropriate managers to anticipate and plan for staffing needs in advance of required start date. Sources candidates through cold calling, search engines, referrals, networking, career fairs, and other avenues. Generates and maintains internal and external job postings; determines effective advertising mediums; places appropriate advertisements. Pre-screens, interviews, assesses, and hires top-quality candidates. Coordinates hiring process, including but not limited to conducting background and reference checks, negotiating salary offers, and issuing job confirmation letters and other internal communication. Manages relationships with external agencies and vendors who advertise and promote targeted jobs. Assist with administration of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements. Coordinates and/or conducts employee-relations activities and programs including but not limited to employee counseling, interpretation of policies, new employee orientation, and employee recognition programs. Conducts exit interviews with employees; communicates findings to management. Responds to inquiries regarding the organization’s processes, policies, procedures, and programs. Conducts ongoing information and training sessions to develop employees and provide support and problem resolution. Coordinates distribution/communication of projects including but not limited to Employee Policy handbook, 401(k) open enrollment, and employee recognition. Identifies potential employee-relations issues and makes recommendations to management. Conducts investigations into claims of harassment or other company-guideline violations.
Education and Work Experience: Preferably 2 – 3 years’ experience and proven track record in a recruiting role (screening, interviewing, and hiring) Experienced in the acceptable practices of interviewing and recruiting in a non-discriminatory environment. One (1) or more years’ experience in Human Resources exposure and/or administration/clerical work Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Human Resources or Business Administration related)
