They are currently seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead their skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with a passion for improving the lives of seniors, supporting staff, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring a high standard of care for all residents. Lead, supervise, and support staff, fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and compassion. Provide effective management of the nursing home’s budget and finances, including staffing, purchasing, and operational costs. Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure that the facility operates within state and federal regulations. Establish and maintain relationships with residents, families, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure the highest level of care and satisfaction. Ensure the facility is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and licensing requirements. Ensure appropriate care plans are developed and implemented for residents, in collaboration with healthcare providers and staff. Monitor patient care outcomes and implement improvements when necessary to ensure the highest quality of life for residents. Hire, train, and retain qualified staff to meet the needs of the facility. Foster staff development and morale through training, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities. Communicate regularly with families and residents regarding care, concerns, and facility updates. Coordinate with external healthcare providers, such as physicians, therapists, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive care for all residents. Ensure seamless communication within the facility and with other Oak Park Place locations to ensure quality care and operations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Must hold a current and valid Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in the state of WI. At least 3-5 years of experience in a senior living or healthcare management role, with a strong understanding of long-term care and skilled nursing operations. Previous experience in managing and leading healthcare teams, ensuring high-quality patient care, and overseeing compliance. Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing skilled nursing facilities. Ability to manage budgets and financial aspects of a healthcare facility.
