Manager, Revenue Cycle & Patient Access (Onsite)
Salary: $73,000 – $120,000 (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Downtown Grand Rapids, MI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM

Our client is a leading diagnostics and therapy provider, revolutionizing patient care through innovative technology. Based in a state-of-the-art facility in downtown Grand Rapids, they foster an environment of collaboration and innovation, redefining what’s possible in healthcare.
We are seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) leader to oversee a team of seven, streamline revenue cycle operations, enhance patient access, and drive billing, collections, and reimbursement strategies. This role is essential in maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance, and fostering a patient-focused approach to revenue management.
Key Responsibilities Lead Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), including billing, denials, charge master management, and collections. Oversee insurance benefits verification, pre-authorizations, and patient account management. Develop and implement RCM strategies to improve efficiencies, maximize revenue, and ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payers. Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with service providers to drive process improvements. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field (or 5 years of RCM experience). Proven success managing an RCM team of 5 employees. 5 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management & Patient Access. Proficiency in HCPCS, ICD-10, CPT, and medical billing software. Certification required (e.g., CPC, CCS, RHIT, CHONC). Experience with Athena highly preferred. Experience with eClinicalWorks highly preferred.
