Job Summary
The Medical Gas Field Inspector is responsible for testing medical gas equipment in medical centers, recording the results and noting any failures. The position requires inspecting/testing medical gas systems including vacuum pumps, air compressors and gas manifolds. You will work in patient areas (ORs, radiology, patient rooms, ERs, ICU, etc.) and mechanical rooms.
Job Responsibilities: Learn applicable codes and inspection techniques Use company provided testing equipment to determine pressure and flow rates of medical gas outlets Test area and master alarms Use ultrasonic guns to detect leaks Get cooperation from customers to complete inspections
Qualifications
