Job Title: Mental Health Therapist

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team. Our facility is committed to providing an individualized approach to therapy, focusing on the unique needs of each client. The ideal candidate will have experience in treating trauma, acute and post-traumatic stress, phobias, addiction-related symptoms, and self-limiting negative thoughts.
The therapist will play a key role in helping clients navigate and overcome emotional and psychological challenges through proven therapeutic techniques. Certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), EMI (Eye Movement Integration), psychodrama, and trauma work is desirable, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and group therapy to clients, focusing on trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices.
Apply therapeutic modalities to treat acute and post-traumatic stress, phobias, addiction-related symptoms, and negative self-limiting beliefs.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments of clients' emotional and psychological needs.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies and state regulations.
Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure holistic care for clients.
Qualifications
Current and valid LCSW or LCPC certification in good standing with the state of Maryland.
Experience and specialized knowledge in trauma therapy, addiction treatment, and addressing phobias and negative self-limiting thoughts.
EMDR or EMI certification, psychodrama, or other trauma-focused therapy certifications are a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients and provide empathetic care.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
