Parents with Children Program
Salary: $60-$70k (Dependent on Experience) Full Benefits!
We are actively hiring for a Mental Health Therapist to join our client’s team for their Parents with Children program in Salt Lake City. Our client is the largest and most comprehensive non-profit behavioral health and addiction program in Utah. In this role, you will assess and diagnose clients, developing a treatment plan addressing their unique needs. You will establish a rapport with clients by facilitating individual, group, and family therapy and attending recreational outings.
The starting salary for this position is ranging between $60-70k (negotiable based upon experience). This is a full-time, permanent position with full benefits, tuition reimbursement, PTO, and other perks.
Job Description: Appropriately diagnose mental health and substance-related conditions using the DSM V. Appropriately assess client needs using the American Society of Addiction Medicine Patient Placement Criteria. Conduct individual, family, and group therapy as assigned. Develop an effective level of rapport with clients on caseload while maintaining healthy boundaries. Complete thorough and effective assessments, such as funding extension requests, in required time frames. Coordinate client psychiatric evaluations and other wrap-around services to provide effective care. Complete treatment planning within a required time frame. Actively utilize the treatment team for clinical support on caseload. Connect clients to community resources. Complete service documentation within the appropriate client management system within 24 hours. Accurately document services using ASAM Dimensional Analysis format, including all required elements. Proactively involve and communicate with collateral supports, including family, significant others, probation officers, judges, caseworkers, and others. Complete accurate and thorough client reports, such as court reports, in required time frames. Other duties as assigned. Candidate Qualities: Passion for Community Service and helping others to realize their own potential. Communication Skills to problem-solve directly with clients and other staff. Reliability to fill their support staff shifts and deliver on position responsibilities. Self-Starter qualities to independently address issues and needs in our organization’s community.
