Our Client, is a leader in the First Aid Route Sales and Service industry, is looking for a Procurement Analyst for their Seattle, WA location.
Salary Range: $35-$39/hr (flexible/based on experience) benefits other perks
What You'll Do
Our current opportunity is for a procurement analyst. You will be a key member of our purchasing team and reporting to our Director of Purchasing and Logistics. You will play a key role in sourcing product both domestically and abroad, managing pricing, negotiating with freight carriers and brokers, while assisting with inventory management and resource planning. Some of what will make you successful in this job includes experience in the following: Searching globally for viable manufacturers Experience in quality control environments Purchasing for a manufacturing environment is preferred Working with artwork and new products Experience with exclusive branding is a plus. Knowledge of freight and logistics is highly preferred Other duties as assigned

We’re Looking for: A sharp mind with 3 – 5 years in procurement, ideally with experience sourcing overseas, including but not limited to China and India. Advanced skills in Excel and Access are strongly Someone who can extract, analyze, and report data in order to improve procurement efficiencies. Someone who from time to time, can prepare and present reports to Senior Management A proven track record in finding new sources to maximize savings for organizations Exceptional organizational and time management skills; someone who’s as comfortable working independently as they are in a team. Familiarity with Tier 2 ERP systems like SysPro, Sage or MS Dynamics.
