Job Summary
This role coordinates with engineering, customers, and scheduling teams to manage project documentation, production planning, and delivery logistics, while ensuring scope accuracy, resolving field issues, and supporting financial closeout and internal training.
Responsibilities (but are not limited to): Coordinate with engineering on document submittals and communicate detailing sequence requirements. Coordinate with customer on initial sequence and delivery requirements. Update notes in OIS & scheduler. Communicate with scheduler on Shop Orders Needed List Items. Assemble and release production shop orders. Reconcile engineering BOM vs. quantity sold in OIS with Estimating/Sales and Detailing. Coordinate with scheduler for production planning and to coordinate loads on dispatch. Attend and give feedback for production meetings. Read and understand drawings, plans and specifications to verify the scope of work of Project Managed Jobs to ensure that proper scope of project is being met by the company. Help create and follow up on change orders. Work closely with Customer Service Supervisor on field related issues; create CSRs as needed, investigate promptly, and follow through on proper resolution. Create FCSRs as needed. Travel to jobsite locations for field issues and erection assistance/training. Assist Credit Specialist as needed with any financial-related issues to ensure proper closeout of all assigned project managed jobs. Issue purchase orders for buy-out items for all specialty deck requirements. Provide internal training on specialty deck as required to NMBS personnel. Requirements: Safety top-of-mind. Effective Communication, Organization, and Logical Thinking Preferred Knowledge of OIS, JEDI & Specialty Deck Previous role in Customer Service
