A Regional Sales Executive is responsible for new business development and account management within a designated region. This role includes closing new accounts, managing existing clients, providing strategic recommendations, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Strong consulting, sales, and presentation skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities Drive new business and meet sales targets. 70% new business development/30% account management. Deliver high-impact presentations to individuals and groups Consult with clients to optimize fleet processes and reduce costs Identify and close opportunities for additional services Own and manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of service
Consulting & Analysis Analyze fleet data to recommend cost-effective solutions Assist clients in vehicle selection and fleet management strategies Work with internal teams to develop solutions tailored to client needs Stay updated on finance, capital markets, and industry trends
Technology & Communication Utilize CRM and Microsoft Office tools for data tracking and reporting Conduct web-based training and client demonstrations Write clear and effective follow-ups, business memos, and reports
Travel & Meetings Travel 50-75% for client meetings, trade shows, and company events Prepare documentation and agendas for client visits
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Master’s a plus) 5-10 years of experience in fleet industry and sales Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
