Residential CAD Drafter - Maitland, FL (Onsite)
Compensation: $21-$29/hr. (negotiable based on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, typical business hours
Our client is an award-winning Residential Design and Architectural firm in the Orlando area. They are growing at a rapid pace and searching for career minded drafting professionals to join their team. At this time, seeking drafters with previous/current residential design and CAD Drafting experience. Basic Florida Building Code knowledge is a plus!
The CAD Drafter Responsibilities
Drafting of residential Architectural plans using computer aided design programs (AutoCAD or Revit) Communicating with internal and external clients Maintaining project records Producing full construction documents in a production environment Performing project administration with the assistance of your team leaders.
Qualifications: 1 years of experience with AutoCAD within Residential Design (Revit experience a plus) Some knowledge of common Florida Building Codes Verifiable High School Diploma or GED Strong AutoCAD skills, preferably in the most up-to-date versions. Revit experience is a plus. Must have some understanding of Florida Building Codes and construction practices Experience in residential design and documentation Experience working on full construction documents Team player with a great attitude
