Job Summary
Our client is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven Sales Rep/Estimator to join their team. This position is responsible for driving sales, estimating project costs, and providing high-quality service to new and existing clients in the commercial asphalt paving and Concrete sector.
Job Responsibilities: Sales and Lead Generation: Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial property owners, managers, and contractors. Identify new business opportunities and generate leads for paving and repair projects. Estimating and Bidding: Conduct on-site evaluations to assess project requirements. Provide accurate, timely, and competitive estimates for new installations, repairs, and maintenance services. Client Communication: Engage with clients throughout the project cycle, from initial inquiry to project completion, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded. Project Coordination: Collaborate with the operations team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Market Knowledge: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive pricing, and product advancements. Provide recommendations to clients to improve their pavement maintenance strategy. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, estimates, and sales activities. Provide regular updates to management on sales performance and project status.
Qualifications: Proven experience in sales or estimating within the commercial paving, construction, or related industries (preferred). Strong knowledge of asphalt paving, Concrete, sealcoating, and striping services is a plus. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships. Ability to accurately estimate project costs and develop proposals. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Familiarity with the Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia markets is preferred.
