Our Client, a leading seafood distributor committed to providing high-quality seafood products to our clients across various markets, is looking for a seasoned Seafood Wholesale Account Executive to join their team in El Segundo, CA.
Salary Range: $60-$80k base (flexible/based on experience) UNCAPPED COMMISSION OTE $120-$160k Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage a portfolio of seafood wholesale clients, ensuring strong relationships and repeat business.
Drive sales growth, targeting and securing new business opportunities within the seafood distribution industry.
Maintain a minimum of $2 million in annual sales, with a focus on expanding revenue streams.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment, logistics, and customer satisfaction.
Stay informed on market trends, industry regulations, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Attend trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to expand brand presence and build relationships.
Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to senior management.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales within the seafood distribution/wholesale industry. (Entry-level candidates will not be considered.)
A track record of at least $2 million in annual sales.
Strong industry relationships and an established network of seafood buyers, restaurants, retailers, and distributors.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to work at our headquarters in El Segundo, CA (relocation reimbursement is available for the right candidate).
Strong understanding of seafood products, sourcing, and supply chain logistics is a plus.
