Our client is seeking a full-time Traffic Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced environment, performing traffic analyses and fieldwork using a variety of specialized software.
Job Responsibilities: Perform technical analyses using Synchro/SimTraffic, Highway Capacity Software, SIDRA, VISSIM, and VISUM. Conduct traffic impact studies, capacity analysis, traffic modeling, signal timing, and crash analysis. Perform traffic engineering fieldwork, including inspections of roadways, intersections, and signage for traffic analysis. Prepare reports with data, analyses, conclusions, and recommendations using tables, charts, and visualizations for clients.
Qualifications: Minimum: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE). Passed or planning to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam. Preferred: Experience with Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, SIDRA, VISSIM, and VISUM. Familiarity with the ITE Trip Generation Handbook, Highway Capacity Manual, and MUTCD.
