Our Client, an established urgent care center in Medford, Massachusetts, is seeking a skilled and experienced Urgent Care Physician to join their team full-time.
Salary Range: $150-$175 per hour BONUS ($175-$200/hr OTE) Benefits Other Perks
Responsibilities Evaluate and treat a wide range of urgent care cases, including minor illnesses, injuries, and other non-life-threatening conditions. Perform and supervise basic urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care. Maintain a patient load of 4 patients per hour, providing efficient and thorough care. Supervise and collaborate with APCs under license, offering guidance and clinical oversight as needed. Document patient encounters and treatment plans accurately in the electronic medical record system. Work 12-hour shifts, including a rotating weekend schedule, to meet the urgent care needs of the community. Requirements Licensure: Active and unrestricted medical license in Massachusetts. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of post-residency experience in urgent care, emergency care, or a similar setting. Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine. Skills: Proficient in urgent care procedures, patient-centered, and efficient in managing cases. Additional Certifications: Willingness to obtain certification for immigration physicals within 6 months of hire and to obtain DOT (Department of Transportation) certification, if not already certified.
