Must know your way around a commercial bakery and be able to follow large batch recipes precisely without supervision. You must be available for early morning shifts.
Responsibilities
- Weigh and measure ingredients
- Mix and blend batters
- Roll, knead, cut, or shape dough to form sweet rolls, pie crusts, tarts, cookies, or other products.
- Know how to make Cheesecakes, pies, scones, and savory/sweet desserts and more.
- Set oven temperatures and monitor or modify as needed
- Ice, glaze, and decorate baked goods
- Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment
Qualifications
- Attention to detail in all aspects of baking
- Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
- Experience as a baker/prep person is mandatory and references are required.
- Must have a food handlers card
- Must be able to work independently and follow directions
