Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in our casual dining establishment. As the Floor Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience for our guests while managing staff and maintaining high standards of service.
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Train, develop, and mentor staff to enhance their skills in food service management and hospitality.
- Manage the Aloha POS system for efficient order processing and payment handling.
- Oversee food handling practices to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate catering events and manage bartending services as needed.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or casual dining industry.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Strong background in training development, food handling, and food service management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Experience in bartending or catering is a plus.
