What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at CRBR?
CRBR is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to the team.
Job Purpose: The Project Manager utilizes independent judgement in performing site inspections to communicate, organize, and deliver quality projects, completed on time and within budget. Your goal is to deliver expected results and great customer service. Daily you should be communicating with the Superintendent on issues that will affect the project schedule and/or budget. In this role it is expected that you are handling the equivalent of $1.8 million in projects or $1.1million in mitigation projects. (If you do both it will be the higher of the two.) At this level you maybe leading company trainings and helping on-board new Project Managers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define a project scope.
- Assume responsibility for successful execution of restoration or reconstruction projects and project profitability.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance adjusters, and claim representatives.
- Negotiate with subcontractors to obtain profitable construction contracts.
- Prepare and maintain budgets, schedules, and ongoing project costs on multiple jobs at once.
- Hit margin goals on projects.
- Ensure all projects are performed in a timely, professional, and consistent manner.
- Work closely with Superintendent to ensure successful completion of assigned jobs.
- Lead, direct, train, and coach employees and subcontractors
- Visit worksite to verify progress, assist crews in resolving challenges, and answer questions.
- Understand and train on safety procedures on jobsites to minimize exposure and risk on projects.
- Attend all appropriate company meetings, and company training sessions.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with customers routinely.
- Delivers above and beyond customer service to your customers.
- Actively be available to customers through multiple forms of communication, email, texts, calls.
- Additional duties required as needed.
- Regularly and consistently scope, sell, contract, manage, and produce projects up to $300,000 and/ or mitigation projects up to $50,000.
- Must participate in the on-call rotation for emergency response services, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Promote and be leading example of how to work safe and encourage safe practices.
- Address any safety concerns of employees, unsafe work areas, or unsafe behaviors.
Qualifications:
- 5 years working in the industry or 5 years supervisory level or higher in related field.
- Has a current sales license or can obtain within first 90 days working.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation. This position requires travel to various job sites, with mileage reimbursement provided for the use of a personal vehicle for company business.
- Fluency in software programs such as Xactimate, PSA, Contractor Connection, & more
- Possess a strong construction background and be able to communicate with Insurance Adjusters/Reps that may have little construction knowledge.

Work Environment:
- Jobsites may vary from very clean environments to very dirty environments or other unsanitary conditions. Protective gear is available for use and is required on some heavily contaminated work sites.
- The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
- Willingness to work in environments that may involve exposure to dust, smoke, debris, mold, asbestos, or other hazardous materials, often in varying weather conditions.
- Remote work would never be option for this position.
Physical Demands:
- Heavy work: exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
