Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oreinted Project Administrator to assist our Project Manager in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various aspects of project management, ensuring that tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes and regulations.
Project Administrator Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in managing and coordinating all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Set up jobs in our accounting system and help get contracts signed.
- Help with the submittal process, including submitting RFIs, Proposed Change Orders, and Change Orders.
- Assist in submitting pay requests and collecting and combining O&M manuals.
- Oversee project coordination among subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Review blueprints and schematics to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress and documentation.
- Implement effective time management strategies to optimize project efficiency.
