The team that will handle Coverage Liability and Property. This position is fully remote.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.Manage the supervision and coordination of the claims department and staff.Organize and disseminate information that affects the claims department to ensure necessary changes for compliance purposes.Control workflow process through Claims Coordinators reviewing allocation of staff to ensure productivity and quality standards meet or exceed expected goals.Review, analyze, track and take appropriate action on losses in order to provide account loss ratios and claims history to senior management.Train claims staff on new policies or procedures.Oversee and audit claims process ensuring proper documentation was created in the system and / or files.Review claims and approve payments under the appropriate binding authorities.Develop and maintain excellent relationships with agents and adjustors.Prepare weekly, quarterly and monthly claim's reports and forward to appropriate parties.QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications : The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.College degree with a concentration in business or equivalent work experienceFive years of Claims handling experience, with one year of supervisory experienceMaintain current knowledge of the insurance industry and Claim's processing ideas through regular attendance of workshops, seminars, literature reviews and / or formal continuing educationAbility to make independent decisions following company guidelines with minimal or no supervisionGood organizational, time management, and detail skillsExtensive knowledge of insurance and CRC processesAbility to maintain a high level of tact and professionalismExcellent leadership skills to influence departmental Employees in a positive mannerPossess strong interpersonal skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong computer and office skillsAbility to work extended hours when necessaryPreferred Qualifications : Commercial and multi-line knowledgeAdjusting experienceThe annual base salary range for this position is $85,000- $95,000.General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of TIH Insurance : All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of TIH Insurance offering the position.
