Overview :
Our client, a leader in the technology space, is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to be their sole HR professional in the U.S. This pivotal role requires a dynamic individual with robust experience in HR compliance / legal, immigration, and billable / bench pay management. The ideal candidate will bring expertise from the technology or tech-adjacent industries, ensuring alignment with the company’s culture and business needs.
Key Responsibilities :
Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR functions within the U.S., managing compliance, employee relations, and legal requirements.
Oversee immigration processes, including H1B visa applications and employee sponsorships.
Manage payroll processes, with a strong focus on billable and bench pay structures.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategies tailored to the organization’s goals.
Partner with global teams to align HR initiatives across borders.
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing insights on workforce planning and organizational development.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
5–10 years of relevant HR experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.
Proven experience with employee relations, immigration management (H1B, L2), compensation analysis, and performance management.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, especially in complex jurisdictions.
Experience managing processes related to billable hours and bench pay.
Familiarity with systems such as Trinet, Employee Navigator, SAP Systems, or NetSuite is a plus.
SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred.
Hands-on approach with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Compensation :
Base Salary : $110,000 - $125,000 (depending on experience)
