CRD Careers has partnered with a leader in the building materials industry to find a results-driven Sales Representative to drive growth . If you have experience selling in the Power Grid space and a passion for building relationships, driving brand awareness, and exceeding sales targets, this role could be an ideal fit.
The position of Regional Sales Manager – Power Grid will serve as an integral part of the Power Grid sales team. Through the coordination of initiatives focused on executing strategies that drive long-term sales performance, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a network of manufacturing representatives, serving as the brand representative within a defined territory, and educating the Electric Utilities, Engineering firms, contractors, developers, and Engineer Procure & Construct (EPC) communities. This position will work cross-functionally throughout the organization to ensure the goals and objectives of the Power Grid Product Line are successfully executed. Due to the strategic value of the Power Grid Product Line, it is imperative that the position of Regional Sales Manager remain focused and closely aligned with the objectives and direction provided and ensure each project is effectively and efficiently completed in a manner that drives optimal results for the company
Requirements
What You Need to Succeed :
- High School Diploma required with B.B.A. preferred
- 5 years’ related experience (related experience needs to be in selling directly to the power grid sector or those building or working for the sector (utilities, engineering firms working for or on power grid projects, etc). Products need to be conductors (wire / cable) utilized in the target market. Products such as alarms, security systems, IT systems, or products / services etc sold to this sector WILL NOT be a match and not the product experience needed for this role.) End customer sector AND related product sold must be a match.
- Ability to plan, organize and work cross-functionally
- Analytical and creative mindset, problem-solving and adaptability
- Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to create regional Marketing Plans
- Experience selling wire or electrical components to the power grid sector (electrical contractors, utilities, engineering firms, procure and construct firms) is a must. Experience needs to be relatively recent.
