Job Overview:
CRDN of the Midsouth is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Maintenance Tech to join our growing team. This position requires a positive attitude and a willingness to provide world class service to customers dealing with painful losses. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, including conveyors, forklifts, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns and ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and parts inventory.
- Assist with facility improvements and modifications as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in industrial or warehouse maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and maintenance tracking.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work at heights using ladders or lifts when necessary.
