Job Summary:
The Night Crew Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the janitorial staff at Samford
University during the night shift. This role ensures that all cleaning tasks are performed
eSiciently and to the highest standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for
students and faculty.
Key Responsibilities:
- _ Supervise and coordinate the night crew's activities, ensuring performance_
- and productivity.
- _ Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to_
- quality standards.
- _ Provide training and support to new employees and ongoing development for existing staff_
- _ Manage assignments for the night crew, including days off requests and absences._
- _ Handle any employee performance issues or conflicts that may arise during the shift._
- _ Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies._
- _ Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, requesting replenishments_
- as needed, while being conscious of product consumption and material use.
- _ Report any incidents of theft or unauthorized use of materials._
- _ Ensure employees adhere to parking and driving protocols on campus._
- _ Collaborate with facility management to address any maintenance or operational_
- concerns.
- _ Close assigned work orders and ensure all tasks are completed as per specifications._
