We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This position involves various tasks related to order fulfillment, inventory management, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist in order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload products from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to optimize workflow and meet daily operational goals.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock management as needed.
- Support other warehouse functions as required, including heavy lifting of products when necessary.
Skills
- Strong understanding of quality control processes within a warehouse setting.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is preferred.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or similar warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Proficiency in order fulfillment processes, including order picking and packing techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively as part of daily responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks performed.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
