Clerk - MRO

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team at MRO General Stores as a Clerk. Position Details:

• Location: Chattanooga
• Hours:
  • Monday and Friday: 08:00 PM to 04:45 AM
  • Saturday and Sunday: 06:00 PM to 06:45 AM
• Shift Differential: $0.50 per hour
• Starting Wage: $18.12 per hour for the first 12 weeks, increasing to $19.12 per hour after 12 weeks
• Start Date: As soon as possible

• Ability to work in a plant and office environment
• Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, vibration, wet and humid weather conditions
• Exposure to occasionally loud noise levels
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and use appropriate support equipment for greater amounts
• Personal Protective Equipment must be worn on the shop floor to prevent injury

Role Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation supporting individual counts
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
• Assist in MRO part activities as directed by VW management
• Execute the values, philosophy, mission, strategy, policies, and standards of the organization
• Achieve operational excellence for strategic indicators
• Communicate with VW Management
• Foster a safe work environment
• Follow all safety rules and procedures
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by VW Supervisor/Team Lead
• Issue requested materials to customers and prioritize line down conditions
• Document stockouts
• Enter issued materials into SAP
• Put away and label parts with VW unique numbers
• Expedite material-related issues
• Transfer materials physically and systematically in SAP
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing and walking
