Position Summary

As a Project Lead at Created Solutions, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of critical projects across a dynamic portfolio. In this highly collaborative and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with customer goals, and driving projects to successful completion.

You will play a key role in fostering innovation, maintaining operational excellence, and delivering solutions that meet the needs of our customers in the defense and aerospace sectors.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with an Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, including leading teams and managing schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Strong understanding of DoD project lifecycles, including proposal development, program initiation, execution, and close-out.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate project plans and solutions to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects and customer needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with DoD agencies such as DARPA, NASA, Army, Navy, Airforce, National Labs, or MDA.
  
• Familiarity with advanced/composite materials, and system integration.
• Strong connections within the defense and aerospace communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of project lifecycles, from proposal development and kickoff through execution and close-out.
• Collaborate with engineering, testing, and manufacturing teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Lead project scheduling, risk management, and performance tracking to ensure alignment with budgets and timelines.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing regular updates and addressing questions or challenges.
• Facilitate clear communication between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Anticipate and mitigate risks, ensuring that potential issues are resolved proactively.
• Promote and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence within your teams.
