Private Jet Catering Company is currently hiring a Delivery Driver to join our growing multi-location catering company. This position would be ideal for an individual who enjoys driving and early morning, as well as someone who likes a flexible schedule.
Currently hiring a 5 day shift: Flex Schedule
The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering catering and concierge items in a safe and timely manner to local airports and coorporate offices. Additionally, the Driver will participate in the process of directly serving our customers and obtain feedback from them regarding our product and service.
They will be an on-site problem solver in the event of situations arising that require immediate action. Further responsibilities may include picking up supplies as needed in the course of business and routine vehicle cleaning and maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the General Manager, the Driver will be responsible for managing the timeliness of the final product that will be delivered to the appropriate location.
- Understand and maintain quality control and safety procedures of food product during delivery.
- Under the direction of the General Manager maintain operationally safe vehicles by conducting regularly scheduled and required inspections including oil changes, tire changes/rotations, and other servicing. Maintain impeccably clean (inside and out) vehicles by utilizing self-service car washes.
- Safely operate company vehicles and drive in compliance with all local and federal laws and regulations.
- Dress professionally and within the guidelines of Company procedures.
- Assist with the assembly of silverware units and stocking of items in the company vehicles.
- Assisting in the Kitchen during busy time.
- A flexible schedule is a Must!!
REQUIREMENTS**
Clean Driver record is a must.
High School diploma is required.
Previous face-to-face customer service experience in the food services, or hospitality industry is a plus.
Individual must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills. Bi-Lingual is a plus.
Must possess a sense of urgency at all times and be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to details.
Clean driving record.
