Position Overview:
The Lead Staff is responsible for, leadership, staff development, training, performance improvement, and management & training implementation of key services in accordance with Creating a Legacy's Policies and Procedures. As a Lead Staff, you will play a crucial role in providing leadership, staff development, and training to ensure the highest quality of services. Your knowledge of behavior modification programs and compliance with relevant laws and regulations will be essential. Effectively interacts with the individuals, and their circle of support on the processes of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The client service program manager is responsible for the department staying in compliance
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strong knowledge of Title 17 and 22, federal and state laws, regional center department of social services, knowledge of Individual Program Plans, and of Behavior modification program's.
- The Lead staff will Provide employee trainings as needed and approved.
- Provide written program summaries and progress report for each individual case prior to assigned deadlines.
- Conduct staff meeting and professional development meetings' as indicated.
- The Lead Staff is to Conduct Report Review/revisions provide case consultation to staff regularly.
- Ensure that Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance is understood, implemented, and reinforced in the region.
- Ensure compliance of certification for staff in the designated region.
- Oversee service utilization for the designated region.
- Accountable for the submission of reports on time for the designated region.
- Ensuring first dates of service are within the required timeline.
- Address client/family concerns and needs and attend Family meetings as needed.
- Negotiates changes or improvements to service plan.
- Demonstrates knowledge and effectively implements fire/safety programs including the following: client and employee safety, security, emergency procedure, fire procedures, internal and external disaster procedures, life safety and adverse medication reactions.

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Minimum Two (2) years of experience in a Supervisory Role with IDD or Related Field
License's/Certificates:
RBT
CPR
CPI
- Valid CA Driver's License (Required)
- DSP 1 and DSP 2 (Preferred)
- CPR & First Aid (Preferred)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) (Preferred)
