Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals, particularly children, to implement and monitor behavior intervention plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You will collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to promote positive behavioral changes and improve the quality of life for those you serve.
Duties
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement behavior intervention strategies in accordance with established protocols.
- Collect and analyze data to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Provide training and support to parents and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
- Participate in diagnostic evaluations and contribute to the overall treatment strategy for clients.
- Stay current with developments in the field of behavioral health and apply best practices in your work.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as an Assistant Behavior Analyst is required.
- Experience working with children in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis relevant to behavioral therapy.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations effectively.
