What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housing Access Expansion Specialist position at Creating Restorative Opportunities and Programs?
Crop is seeking an independent contractor to serve as a liaison between the organization and local property managers and real estate professionals.
The contractor will be responsible for supporting CROP's efforts to expand access to Fair Chance Housing in the Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay areas.
This includes developing relationships with property managers and landlords who are committed to providing housing opportunities for individuals with justice-involved backgrounds.
The selected contractor will need to have a strong understanding of Fair Chance Housing ordinances and local housing regulations across different cities in California.
They will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency with their own business tools and systems for project management and communication.
The estimated time commitment for this role is approximately 15-20 hours per week.
