What You Will Do
Joyride Sweets is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and adaptable Marketing Director to lead our brand's marketing efforts in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate thrives on collaboration, is results-driven, and excels at fostering positive, respectful interactions that inspire extraordinary solutions and ideas. Reporting to the Founder / CEO and working closely with cross-functional teams, the Marketing Director will develop and execute marketing strategies that elevate the Joyride brand, drive growth, and create exceptional consumer experiences.
Responsibilities :
- Brand Strategy and Planning :
- Define the brand's strategy, positioning, and architecture to ensure a clear and compelling market presence.
- Develop and implement an annual marketing plan, including measurable objectives and KPIs.
- Conduct and leverage qualitative and quantitative research to inform strategic decisions and ensure brand success.
- Creative Leadership and Campaign Management :
- Oversee the creative strategy, working with internal teams, agencies, and freelancers to produce engaging marketing assets and campaigns.
- Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns at national and customer-specific levels.
- Design a social media strategy that engages partners and influencer relationships.
- Performance Monitoring and Analysis :
- Monitor brand and business performance using internal and external data to identify opportunities and address challenges.
- Use insights to refine strategies and improve brand development and volume performance.
- Innovation and Product Development :
- Develop and manage a multi-year innovation roadmap aligned with market trends and consumer needs.
- Lead the innovation process from ideation through execution, ensuring timely delivery and maximum impact.
- Retail and Consumer Engagement :
- Collaborate with the Sales team to develop consumer promotion programs and retail-specific strategies.
- Oversee the creation of in-store Point-of-Sale (POS) materials and ancillary brand initiatives.
- Digital Strategy :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the Joyride Sweets website, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals.
- Identify opportunities for digital growth through packaging, promotions, and new product initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Partner with Ryan Trahan's team, Sales, Finance, and Operations to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
- Communicate the company's growth vision effectively across all levels of the organization.
- E-commerce & DTC Experience : Experience managing e-commerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales channels, including platforms like Amazon, Shopify, Instacart, and retailer.com sites, ensuring seamless integration with overall sales strategy.
- Omni-Channel Strategy : Ability to align all marketing strategies, optimizing brand presence and consumer engagement across all channels.
