Creative Arts Therapist

Creative Art Therapy Place, PLLC is seeking a passionate, fully licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) to join our diverse and innovative group practice on a part-time basis. We welcome clinicians trained in Art Therapy, Drama Therapy, Dance/Movement Therapy, or Music Therapy who are excited to engage in meaningful, creative clinical work.

Our practice is grounded in values of diversity, inclusivity, accessibility, creativity, innovation, and play, and we are especially interested in candidates who share a commitment to these principles in both clinical and community-based work.

This role is ideal for someone who has another part-time position and is looking to build a private practice caseload gradually, with the freedom to explore new ideas and develop programs within a supportive and creative environment.

• Flexible scheduling with a slowly growing caseload
• Hybrid or remote opportunities, with access to our Brooklyn-based office
• Clinical autonomy with optional collaboration and team support
• Access to our Healing Arts Gallery, a community space for exhibiting client artwork several times a year
• Opportunities to develop and launch workshops or group programs through our partner space, Lost & Found Space—a dynamic, interdisciplinary creative makerspace for art, music, wellness, and healing modalities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed in New York State as an LCAT (required)
• Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean
• Certification or training in one or more of the following areas:
• Eating Disorder Treatment
• Addiction and Harm Reduction
• DBT, EMDR, or Internal Family Systems (IFS)
