Creative Arts and Sports is a burgeoning youth basketball and recreation program dedicated to developing young athletes’ skills, sportsmanship, and passion for the game. Our mission is to build strong communities by fostering leadership, teamwork, and innovation among youth through the vessel of sport and the arts.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Marketing Operations Intern to support the administration team in ensuring smooth execution of projects and initiatives. This role will involve coordinating logistics, managing timelines, and assisting in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and events. It’s an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in operations and project management within a fast-paced organization. This position will also coordinate with two other internship roles: branding and graphic design intern and photo and video production intern.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
- Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of marketing campaigns and youth basketball events.
- Create and maintain project timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Coordinate between team members to ensure seamless communication and task completion.
- Coordinate up through management in executing the detailed functions admin needs
- Coordinate laterally with Branding and Graphic interns as well as Photo and Video interns to make sure any project tasks that require collaboration are done synchronously
Administrative Support:
- Maintain organized records of marketing materials, event assets, and team documentation.
- Support Graphic Design and Photo Video interns in housing and maintaining an easily accessible database that can be utilized by the administrative team
- Assist with scheduling meetings, tracking progress, and preparing updates for the marketing team.
- Manage inventory of promotional materials and event supplies.
- Physical materials such as displays. Banners, poster, prints flyers, apparel, supplies etc
- Digital photos, video etc
Data Analytics and Process Improvement
- Track and analyze data from marketing campaigns and events to measure effectiveness.
- Update and maintain databases, including participant, sponsor, and partner information.
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve efficiency within the administrative team.
- Propose and implement solutions to enhance workflows and organization.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for youth development, sports, and/or creative arts.
