What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Care Center Substitute and PM Wrap Care position at Creative Beginnings Child Care?

As a Child Care Center Substitute and PM Wrap Care provider, you will be essential in supporting the daily operations of our childcare program. Reporting to the Center Director, your role involves caring for children, implementing educational activities, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. With core skills in early childhood education and infant care, along with premium skills in first aid and special education, you will effectively address the diverse needs of our children. Your relevant experience in classroom management and behavior management will enhance the overall quality of care and learning in our center.
Your primary role will be assisting in the Preschool classroom two days a week and helping in Wrap Care [After School Care] up to five days a week with our UPK and School Age children. You will also learn how to work in our kitchen and the other classrooms for those days that a substitute teacher is needed. The total number of hours will fluctuate from week to week. In the summer, some weeks may require full time hours. YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK UNTIL 5:00 PM.
For this position, OCFS requires a background check, trainings, and specific paperwork. Previous child care experience is preferred. Pediatric first aid, CPR, and/or MAT training is also welcome, as well as a willingness to get such certifications.
