Your Role:
As a Registered Behavior Technician with Creative Behavioral Connections, you will provide essential services to help individuals and families through their journey. Your responsibilities include:
· Providing direct services to clients that align with the science of behavior analysis as outlined in the individualized treatment plan.
· Implementing specific teaching strategies to aid in the reduction of challenging and interfering behaviors and to promote skill acquisition.
· Completing appropriate documentation within deadlines determined by client needs.
· Reporting any issues or concerns regarding implementation to the direct clinical supervisor.
· Collecting and documenting data as outlined in the client’s individualized treatment plan.
· Attending all required meetings and training sessions for client success.
· Maintaining ongoing communication with all stakeholders (families, teachers, supports, etc.).
· Keeping current with continuing education courses to maintain RBT certification as required by the Nevada ABA board and the BACB.
· Meeting with your supervisor monthly or as needed to report progress and concerns, with urgent issues reported immediately.
· Adhering to the RBT ethics code as outlined by the BACB and the Nevada ABA board.
· Maintaining assigned working hours and tasks as outlined in the RBT task list provided by the BACB.
· Ensuring confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
· Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
· Must be at least 18 years old with a clean background check.
· High-school diploma or equivalent.
· Registered with the BACB and Nevada ABA Board is a plus.
· Completion of a 40-hour RBT course within the last 180 days.
· Experience providing direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
· Ability to work with a variety of clients of different ages and functionalities with minimal direction.
· Knowledge of behavioral-based interventions and their implementation.
· Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook systems.
· Ability to utilize office equipment such as copy machines, phone systems, etc.
· Ability to respond quickly to phone calls, text messages, and emails.
· Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
· Reliable and insured transportation in the state of Nevada (driver’s insurance on file with HR).
Preferred Qualifications:
· Registration with the BACB and Nevada ABA Board.
· Completion of a 40-hour RBT course within the last 180 days.

Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods.
· Ability to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods.
· Physical presence at the assigned job location, which may include home, school, and community placements.
· Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between different job sites within Utah.
· Valid Nevada driver’s license and insurance in good standing.
· Valid CPR certification.
