Creative Business Innovations is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced New Model Specialist for our Client, a Tier 1 Honda Supplier in East Liberty, OH.
**This position is a direct hire position.
Scope and Purpose of Position:
This role will coordinate new project development and analyze new product launches
Tasks of the Position:
- Transition of New Products to into mass production at plant level
- Plan and organize trial production runs for new product
- Identify and countermeasure existing or potential problems that could impact launch
- Coordinate material arrangements to support trial builds
- Coordinates all New Model Reviews and supporting GAP sheets
- Set, measure, and track new product launch goals, targets and project status
- Report new product launch development status to executive management and customer
- New Model part check in / receiving inspection
- Secondary BOM checks
- Honda R & D build coordination, portal coordination
- Support new supplier activities
- Coordinate training of second shift associates
- SAP development / follow up for projects
- Support build out activity
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Support 5S initiatives
- Support Kaizen events
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to read blueprints, calipers, micrometers, etc
- Understanding of analyzing data, problem solving, and countermeasures
- Ability to lift 30 – 55 pounds
- Knowledge of computer systems; familiar with Microsoft Office
- Possesses organizational, priority / time management, problem solving, conflict resolution and judgment
- Establish constructive working relationships with customers and colleagues
- Demonstrate and present effective verbal / written communication skills to compose and / or edit written materials
- Well organized with a superior attention to detail with project management experience
- Self-motivated, self-starter with the eagerness to continue to learn
- Stays informed of current practice developments within the profession, and uses educational / training opportunities to ensure continual professional competence
Qualification (Education / Training)
- Post High School training or college course work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.65 - $24.86 per hour
