Creative Business Innovations is looking for a Quality Control Supervisor for a Tier 1 automotive supplier in East Liberty, OH. This is a DIRECT HIRE position at the client company.
Scope and Purpose:
Provide supervision to hourly quality associates, support production quality problem investigation, main contact to customers for quality concerns, and containment lead.
Tasks of the Position:
· Initiate QC contact with customers including emails, phone calls, or portal reports (HTR, RFI)
· Assist with Change Point Control – IPPAAR, IPP process.
· Follow, enforce, and monitor all company policies, including ISO 9001 /ISO 14001, and QMS adherence.
· Utilize lean principles to develop, and implement countermeasures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of products and services.
· Support achievement of OEE goals, meet or exceed QOS performance goals via efficient manpower utilization
· Maintain daily attendance records using ADP.
· Provide Human Resources with scheduled performance reviews and written documentation of unacceptable conduct for disciplinary action.
· Inspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications.
· Assists Quality Manager in Management Review of the Quality System.
· Following up on and closing pending Preventive and Corrective Action Requests.
· Ensure that organizational systems and training are in place.
· Ensuring that documentation and design controls are appropriate for the organization.
· Administering document control and configuration management system.
· Assisting the management team and providing QC support as necessary.
· Addressing non-conformities from previous internal and external audits
· Initiates quality alerts & visual aids
· Initiate QC response to Portal Requests (HTR/RFI/FYI)
· Support material, flow, and warehouse management as well as supporting the new model processes.
· Must model, enforce, and monitor the company’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
· Lead Health and Safety efforts and promote Zero tolerance for unsafe acts and conditions.
· Provide clear directions and establish accountability for Team Leaders and all associates in an autonomous team environment in order to manage all aspects of assembly operations to achieve plant goals.
· Other duties as assigned.

· Ability to manage task lists and multiple projects effectively.
· Possesses strong organizational, priority/time management, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and judgment skills.
· Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
· Ability to communicate problems involving complex and confidential situations to the HR Director and seek guidance and direction at all times.
· Ability to effectively demonstrate written communication skills to compose and/or edit written materials, reports, and correspondence.
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprint specifications, and customer schedules.
Ability to use data to drive decision-making.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Supervise 4 Quality team leaders and 4 Quality Associates. They are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these associates. Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Qualifications: (Education / Training):
Bachelors's Degree in Engineering or in a related field, with 5 years of manufacturing or quality experience, hourly supervising experience

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
