Housekeeper - Outdoor Residential and Commercial Office

Purpose: The Housekeeper is responsible for performing a wide range of cleaning and sanitizing tasks across the outdoor living areas of a private residence and a commercial office. The ideal candidate will uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, handle high-end furnishings and finishes with care, and maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Key Responsibilities, Outdoor Residential

· Clean and organize all outdoor living spaces, including patios, pavilions, kitchens, and dining areas.

· Clean, disinfect, and sanitize outdoor kitchens, grills, dining surfaces, countertops, furniture, floors, windows, doors, and appliances.

· Sanitize and maintain outdoor trash containers and recycling bins, replacing liners as needed and disposing of waste in the designated dumpster.

· Ensure all outdoor living areas are organized, free from debris, and visually appealing to maintain a welcoming environment.

· Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, reporting low inventory to the Senior Housekeeper.

Key Responsibilities, Commercial Office

· Vacuum carpets, rugs, and mop hard floors to maintain clean, professional office spaces.

· Clean, dust, and sanitize desks, tables, and workstations while respecting employee belongings.

· Sanitize, disinfect, and deep clean office bathrooms, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and restocked with necessary supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper).

· Break down boxes, empty office trash bins and paper shredders, replace liners, and dispose of all waste in the designated dumpster.

· Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, reporting low inventory to office personnel.

General Responsibilities

· Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and performing tasks.

· Properly use, maintain, and store cleaning supplies and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.

· Notify the appropriate personnel of any maintenance issues or if something is not working correctly.

· Perform additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

· While this position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, the Housekeeper for the outdoor residential areas and the office will collaborate closely with the Senior Housekeeper, office staff, and other team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient housekeeping operation.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· High School Diploma or equivalent required.

· Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.

· Ability to work with minimal supervision independently and collaboratively within a team.

· Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

· Effective communication skills (verbal and written).

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of homeowners and office personnel.

· Dependable and punctual, with a demonstrated history of reliability and adherence to schedules.

· Capability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, lift moderate weight, and stand for extended periods.

· Must consent to mandatory drug screening and background check.
