Primary Purpose of Job: The Events Coordinator is responsible for managing and organizing events, including social, promotional, and business events to expand the company’s image and promote brand awareness. The Events Coordinator will oversee particular tasks throughout the event planning process. These duties include, but are not limited to meeting with vendors, running errands for supplies, and working with staff to ensure the completion of successful events. The Events coordinator must make sure the logistics work out, keep everything within the allocated budget, and ensure that the events are carried out smoothly.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

· Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and venues.

· Plan event details and aspects.

· Remain within budget with all costs.

· Manage events and address potential problems that may arise.

· Ensure an efficient flow before, during, and after each event.

· Maintain a working knowledge of the complex needs of a variety of events.

· Oversee all marketing projects and activities to ensure they stay on track and on budget.

· Work closely with Leadership Team to strategize different ways to spread awareness about the agency, events, and initiatives.

· Lead the set-up and execution of agreed-upon marketing plans and campaigns from concept to final analysis.

· Develop documentation and road maps for processes and promotions that succeed through email.

· Work with the Executive Leadership Team to determine long- and short-term goals and key metrics.

· Brainstorm new methods of increasing engagement with the organization.

· Performs public speaking at community and business events.

· Maintain an annual calendar for marketing events.

· Attend meetings and training for awareness, growth, and development.

· Maintain the budget and oversee the creation supply of marketing materials.

· Multitask with several project details at once to meet departmental/marketing objectives.

· Identify professional lead sources and adjust the marketing plan accordingly.

· Adhere to the agency’s standards, practices, policies, and procedures.

· Perform other duties as assigned and relevant to the job position.

Qualifications:

· BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.

· Effective leadership, analytical, problems solving, and decision- making skills.

· Excellent presentation, customer relation and facilitation skills

· Hands-on experience creating, implementing, analyzing marketing events.

· Effective in creating, editing, and promoting written and visual content with the ability to adapt to the style, tone, and voice of the agency’s various types of content.

· Effective written, verbal and listening skills.

· A passion and strong understanding of the agency’s business mission.

· Ability to be flexible and adaptable in different circumstances to meet the needs of the community for best end results.

· Demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.

· Excellent interpersonal skills with friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.

· Ability to work independently to complete tasks in a timely manner.

· Ability to collaborate with team members to meet goal objectives.

· Possess personal traits: empathy, patience, tolerance, cultural sensitivity, social judgement, emotional intelligence, maturity, and understanding.

· Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

Job Specifications: Must be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office software. It is required that staff must possess valid New Jersey Driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle.

Working Conditions: Working environment is friendly group and individual setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
