Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our team of educators who are passionate about providing high-quality education to young children. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and interactive learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and social skills. Our preschool program is designed for children aged 8 weeks to 16 months, and we are looking for someone who can deliver a unique learning experience that meets the individual needs of each child.
Duties:
- Plan and deliver lesson plans that align with our preschool curriculum, incorporating games, arts, and other activities that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
- Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring that all children are engaged, and their needs are met throughout the day.
- Create a positive and inclusive environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development in young children.
- Provide individualized support and guidance to children with special needs or learning difficulties.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to develop and implement educational programs.
- Ensure that the classroom is well-organized, clean, and safe for children.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
Skills:
- Experience working with children, preferably in a preschool or daycare setting.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain a positive and inclusive environment.
- Experience in special education or working with children with special needs is an asset.
- Familiarity with curriculum planning and implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff.
- Experience in babysitting, nannying, or caring for toddlers is a plus.
- Experience in a daycare or preschool setting is a requirement for this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
