Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of social media marketing, content creation, and relationship management. The Social Media Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
You will need your own working laptop (windows or mac).
Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM.

Duties
Your responsibilities include staying informed about current church culture, terminology, and theology. You will be responsible for crafting and sharing compelling content on a daily basis for our church partners. Although all content will be provided, your excellent copywriting skills, accurate spelling, and punctuation are crucial to creating engaging captions.
Attention to detail is a must, as you'll need to oversee the accuracy of scheduled content and communicate regularly with clients and the creative team. Additionally, you'll interact with followers, addressing their inquiries in a timely manner and monitoring comments. Being able to manage multiple conversations and tasks simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines is vital.
Your role also involves scheduling social media graphics, videos, and status updates two weeks in advance for each client. Familiarity with various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok, is necessary. You should be a quick learner, adapting to our Social Media Management platform (Agorapulse) and our Project Management Platform (Teamwork) efficiently, with a moderate understanding of technology.

Requirements
- Proven experience in social media marketing or a related field.
- Strong skills in content creation with a keen eye for photography and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is preferred for creating engaging graphics.
- Familiarity with social media management tools like Hootsuite is a plus.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of public relations principles as they relate to social media.
- Ability to analyze data from social media campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Knowledge of current trends in digital marketing in church culture and the ability to adapt quickly.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
