Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of social media marketing, content creation, and relationship management. The Social Media Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
You will need your own working laptop (windows or mac).
Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms.
- Monitor social media channels for trends and insights through social listening to inform content strategy.
- Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster relationships with the online community.
- Collaborate with the public relations team to ensure alignment of messaging across all platforms.
- Utilize tools such as Hootsuite for scheduling posts and analyzing performance metrics.
- Conduct regular audits of social media accounts to assess effectiveness and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media marketing.
- Use Adobe Creative Suite to create visually appealing graphics and multimedia content.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media marketing or a related field.
- Strong skills in content creation with a keen eye for photography and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is preferred for creating engaging graphics.
- Familiarity with social media management tools like Hootsuite is a plus.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of public relations principles as they relate to social media.
- Ability to analyze data from social media campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Knowledge of current trends in digital marketing and the ability to adapt quickly.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
