What are the responsibilities and job description for the Art Director (Experiential / Events) position at Creative Circle?
Our client, a well-known beauty brand, is looking for a freelance Art Director to assist their team part-time (15 hours per week) through March of next year; this is a hybrid role, and will be onsite 1-2 days per week for ad-hoc meetings, but flexible for remote work when needed.

The Art Director Will
- Concept and design event branding materials, including digital assets, print collateral, on-site signage, and merchandise.
- Research and curate on-trend visuals, ensuring high-quality design execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align creative work with business objectives.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Provide creative leadership and take ownership of projects.
- 6 years: either in-house or agency-side experience specifically in beauty or fashion
- Fluency in Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
- An understanding of relevant beauty, fashion and design trends and how they relate to the business
- Willingness to be reactive, flexible, and resourceful in a very fast-paced environment.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally, as well as in a team.
- Portfolio showing skills in both design and conceptual thinking in print and digital.
- Experience in print production cycle and retouching.
