Rate/Salary: $45-$55 during the contract; salary in the range of $110-130K upon conversion
Position Overview
Our client, the fundraising arm of one of the world's top hospitals, is looking to hire an Associate Creative Director. This a contract to hire opportunity, with the intention to convert to FTE upon completion of a 6 month contract.
The ACD will oversee the creation direction of communications materials, working with colleagues to develop
communications materials to support all key stages through the donor process: awareness, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
They need a strategic thinker and driver who will be energized by their mission, understand what motivates donors, and bring a fresh approach to fundraising and new ideas to the table!

Key Responsibilities
- Determines the most effective creative approaches and media with senior staff to meet specific fundraising communications needs.
- Oversees fundraising and event communications materials in coordination with the channels team, including presentations, invitations, signage, videos, and digital communications as needed.
- Serves as the lead creative voice on photoshoots and guides the photography selection process.
- Directs at team of two multimedia designers, freelance designers and photographers in the production of donor communications.
- Partner with copywriters to generate innovative ideas and craft cohesive,compelling concepts
- Ensure all creative work aligns with client's brand voice and strategy, while pushing creative boundaries to deliver fresh and unexpected fundraising solutions.
- Roll up your sleeves and contribute directly to various design projects, ensuring high-quality execution across: Print, Branding, Event graphics, Storyboards for Motion Graphics, Keynote presentations, Social media ads and banners, Print production
- 7 years of creative experience leading integrated cross-channel campaigns, preferably with a background in fundraising OR agency experience
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative direction and innovative design work spanning digital and print
- Strong leadership skills with a desire to manage/mentor a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts effectively
- Directing/storyboarding motion graphics a plus
