Our agency client is responding to an RFP and is looking for an AV Production Tech to join their team should they be awarded the contract.
This position would be ONSITE 5 days a week at their client's facility in Bethesda, MD (metro accessible). This position is 40 hours a week. The position would start in mid/late January through June with probable extension.
The ideal AV Production Tech will have experience coordinating logistics and setting up rooms for in-person, hybrid, and virtual meetings, including meeting room setup, highlighting speakers, controlling microphone use/levels.

Duties Of The AV Tech
- Plan and prepare AV requirements for events/meetings, including setting up meeting spaces i.e. microphones, monitor stands, meeting cameras
- Ensure the proper installation and functionality of equipment and room management, including room temperature control, trash cleanup, furniture
- Fulfill all technical needs and requirements to ensure a flawless experience for all participants, including remote attendees
- Interface with internal meeting/events team to ensure all technical requirements are met for event needs - Recommend technology platform based on event requirements
- Manage stakeholder engagement to ensure necessary collateral is collected and information is communicated
- Manage virtual meetings, including breakout rooms, highlighting speakers, enabling panel functions for presentations, loading presentations
- Troubleshoot technology issues
- Bachelor's degree
- 4 years of experience with AV, video production, live/virtual events
- Experience managing virtual events on WebEx, Zoom, Teams
- Experience liaising with stakeholders and clients highly preferred
