Position Overview
Our client, a large retail company, is looking for a contract Packaging Designer to join their team for 6 months! The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative packaging solutions that align with our brand objectives while ensuring functionality and sustainability. This role requires a strong blend of creative design skills and technical expertise in packaging materials and processes.
This is a 6 month contract role, 40 hours per week. The team works on site 2 days per week in their Framingham, MA office.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop packaging solutions that meet product specifications and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and supply chain to ensure packaging aligns with product strategy.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to create and modify packaging designs and mock-ups.
- Conduct research on packaging materials and trends to recommend improvements and innovations.
- Prepare and present packaging concepts and prototypes to stakeholders for feedback and approval.
- Manage multiple packaging projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
